Job Title : Manager – Business Development (Travel Retail)
Location : New Delhi
About The Company: One of India's leading Services & Infrastructure Conglomerates with interests in Airport Development, Retail, urban infrastructure, services business etc- for its Commercial Division- Travel/Luxury Retail)
About The Role:
The incumbent will be responsible for scouting BD opportunities, developing business case, managing qualifications and bid submissions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exploring and analyzing duty free /Travel Retail business development opportunities
- Interaction with grantors, other eco-system players
- Track all the upcoming opportunities and development happening in the travel retail sector
- Preparing proposals for various authorities in line with their requirement of services and support, leveraging capabilities of the group
- Identification of support needed from external agencies and consultants,preparation of their scope and appointing them
- Preparing business cases and conducting initial business assessment including the financial assessment for upcoming opportunities
- Preparation of bid budget and monitoring of expenses
- Preparation of qualification documents, attending pre application Meetings
- Preparation of queries on the bid documents and propose suggestions
- Identification of risks, tracking and management throughout the bid process
- Understanding and resolving cross-functional issues related to the bids
- Preparation of bid documents, attending pre-bid meetings and site visits
- Prepare implementation plan post winning of bid
Preferred QUALIFICATIONS & Experience
• MBA/Post Graduate in Marketing/Finance
•6-8 years experience in TRAVEL RETAIL with background in commercial negotiations, contracting and/or financial reporting OR experience of working with Airport Operator with background in non-aeronautical business development and tender management
