About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development professional with a strong foothold in the life insurance broking space. The incumbent will be responsible for expanding our broker and sub-broker network across Delhi NCR, driving substantial revenue growth, and building long-term, trust-based partnerships with channel partners. This is a senior, high-impact role suited for a results-driven leader with deep market relationships and a proven revenue track record.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and develop relationships with brokers, sub-brokers, and distribution partners in the life insurance segment across Delhi NCR.
- Drive channel business to achieve and exceed revenue targets, with accountability for a business book of 20 Crore and above.
- Formulate and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives and market opportunities.
- Provide regular training, business planning support, and product briefings to broker and sub-broker partners to enhance productivity.
- Monitor partner performance metrics, conduct periodic reviews, and take corrective actions to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal underwriting, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless servicing and partner satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of IRDAI regulatory developments, competitor activity, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, broker meets, and networking forums to strengthen brand presence.
- Prepare and present periodic business reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to senior leadership.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the life insurance industry, with at least 5–7 years specifically in broking or broker channel management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and growing broker and sub-broker networks in the life insurance segment.
- Proven track record of managing business revenue of 20 Crore or above.
- Must currently be working in, or have extensive prior experience in, the life insurance broking industry.
- Strong existing relationships with life insurance brokers and distribution partners, particularly in Delhi NCR.
- Deep understanding of life insurance products — term, ULIP, endowment, group life, credit life, etc.
- Familiarity with IRDAI regulations governing life insurance broking.
