Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

CTC Range: 6,00,000 9,00,000 LPA

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening channel partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities across product categories. The role requires strategic thinking, strong relationship management skills, and deep understanding of the building materials and construction ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across B2B and B2C segments.
  • Drive sales growth through channel expansion, key account acquisition, and market penetration.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Explore new geographies and customer segments to expand market share.

Channel & Partner Management

  • Develop and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, architects, and institutional clients.
  • Strengthen existing channel network and onboard new channel partners.
  • Ensure optimal product visibility and market presence.

Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow high-value accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building.

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, pricing benchmarks, and new opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

Revenue & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular MIS reports.
  • Forecast sales and manage pipeline effectively.

Brand Promotion

  • Support marketing initiatives, trade events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
  • Promote in-house brands (Ganga & Fotia) and drive category-level growth.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development / Sales in building materials, construction, steel, plumbing, sanitaryware, tiles, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong network within the construction and infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of business targets.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools preferred).
