Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the interior furniture and fitout sector, focusing on key industries like commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Client Engagement:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial consultation to contract negotiation and project handover.
- Collaborate closely with internal design, production, and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Market Research & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to position Tripod Global as a leader in the interior fitout and furniture industry.
- Develop pricing strategies and proposals to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Project Management Support:
- Support the delivery of client projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client specifications.
- Monitor project milestones and identify opportunities for up-selling additional services or products.
- Brand Promotion & Networking:
- Represent Tripod Global at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.
- Work closely with marketing and brand teams to align business development strategies with brand messaging and initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales within the interior furniture and fitout industry, ideally with experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle in interior fitouts and furniture manufacturing.
- Established network within the design, architecture, or construction industries is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client relations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in project management or coordination within the interior design or fitout sectors.
- Knowledge of current trends in interior design, furniture innovation, and sustainable practices.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.
