About the Role

The Business Development Manager at Eat Better Co is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's presence in the market. The role includes market research, lead generation, client acquisition, and executing revenue-driven strategies to support the company's expansion in the healthy food sector.

Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Eat Better Co's strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Develop persuasive business proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential partners and clients.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Generate qualified leads through networking, outreach, digital platforms, and market intelligence.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat partnerships.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, and partnership agreements.

Sales Execution & Revenue Management

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through proactive sales planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain sales reports, update CRM entries, and track performance metrics.
  • Partnership & Market Expansion

    • Identify and onboard distributors, retail partners, and strategic collaborators.
    • Represent Eat Better Co at events, exhibitions, food industry forums, and client meetings.
    • Explore collaboration opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market reach.

    Operational Coordination

    • Assist in planning and executing business development strategies and campaigns.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities and client communications.
    • Provide insights and feedback for improving business development processes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
    • 25 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition.
    • Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or D2C brand environment is an added advantage.

    Required Skills

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong relationship-building and client-handling abilities.
    • Analytical approach with problem-solving and decision-making capability.
    • Results-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
