Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and build strong relationships with buyers across the electronics, electrical, consumer appliances, and related sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, and revenue growth within manufacturing-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and acquire new business opportunities within electronics, electrical, consumer appliances, and related industries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with buyers, sourcing teams, procurement heads, and key decision-makers.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, market research, referrals, and industry events.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions to showcase manufacturing capabilities and solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, production, quality, and operations teams to deliver customized manufacturing solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term business partnerships.
  • Develop strategic account plans to maximize customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while contributing to overall business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–8 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or Key Account Management.
  • Proven success in acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, electronics, electrical products, OEM/ODM, EMS, or related industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to independently drive business growth and manage strategic accounts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCBA, Contract Manufacturing, OEM/ODM, Electrical Products, Consumer Durables, or Home Appliances.
  • Exposure to large retail buyers or global procurement teams.
  • Experience handling enterprise clients and key accounts.
  • Existing network within manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, or retail ecosystems will be an added advantage.

Good to Have

  • Experience working with buyers from large retail organizations such as Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, or Target.
  • Understanding of supply chain, sourcing, and contract manufacturing processes.
