Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in selling Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 solutions to manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and sales for Industry 4.0, IIoT, OEE, MES, Smart Factory, and Digital Manufacturing solutions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing industries
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Engage with Plant Heads, Production, Maintenance, IT/OT teams, and CXOs to understand business challenges and propose suitable solutions
  • Prepare proposals, commercials, presentations, and ROI/value-based business cases
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams for successful project execution and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in B2B solution sales/business development
  • Proven experience selling Industry 4.0, IIoT, MES, OEE, Smart Factory, Industrial Automation, or Digital Manufacturing solutions
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Industrial IoT, industrial communication protocols, and shop-floor digitization concepts is preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Industrial Automation, System Integration, Manufacturing Technology, or Digital Transformation solution providers
  • Exposure to ERP integrations such as SAP, SAP B1, or Oracle is an added advantage
