Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager

with a strong background in the Education Technology sector. The ideal candidate should

have a proven track record of working with schools, colleges, universities, and educational

institutions, along with an established network across Kerala and South India.

The role involves driving business growth, building strategic relationships with educational

institutions, and promoting UWR's portfolio of Robotics, AI, STEM, and Future Skills

solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within schools, colleges,

universities, and educational groups.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including

Management, Principals, Directors, Trustees, and Academic Leaders.

Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and consultative discussions with

prospective institutions.

Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

Develop and execute territory-wise business development strategies across Kerala

and South India.

Represent the organization at educational conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and

networking events.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation

of solutions.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve defined business objectives.

Gather market intelligence and provide insights on industry trends, competition, and

customer requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or Institutional Sales

within:

o School ERP

o College ERP

o EdTech Solutions

o Academic Technology Platforms

o Education Consulting Services

Demonstrated success in selling solutions to educational institutions.

Strong network among schools, colleges, universities, educational trusts, and

academic decision-makers.

Thorough understanding of the education ecosystem across Kerala and South India.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management

skills.

Willingness to travel extensively as part of the role.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Existing relationships with educational institutions across Kerala and South India.

Experience engaging with CBSE, ICSE, International Schools, Arts & Science Colleges,

Engineering Colleges, and Universities.

Ability to work independently while contributing to organizational growth objectives.

Passion for education, innovation, and technology-driven learning solutions.
