Position: Business Development Manager

Purpose:

Experience:
8 - 12 Years in Sales within the Aviation, Travel, Hotel, Retail Hospitality Industry preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager will be accountable for shaping and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to meet Adani's business objectives in the aviation domain. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing sales plans that align with the organization's goals and market trends, with a strong focus on corporate sales. - Identifying new corporate clients and business opportunities through proactive networking, market analysis, and leveraging industry connections. - Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with key corporate accounts by delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique aviation requirements. - Leading and mentoring the sales team to ensure high performance, motivation, and continuous skills development. - Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and customer service teams to design and deliver compelling proposals and contracts. - Monitoring sales performance metrics and preparing detailed reports for senior management to enable data-driven decision-making. - Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. - Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights. - Managing budgets related to sales campaigns and client engagement activities to optimize resource utilization. - Championing Adani's commitment to ethical business practices, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility in all sales initiatives. - Driving innovation in sales processes by adopting new tools, CRM systems, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and customer engagement. - Representing Adani at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to build brand presence and establish thought leadership. - Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to aviation sales and corporate dealings. - Facilitating continuous feedback loops between clients and internal teams to improve service delivery and customer experience. - Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members to uphold Adani's high standards and values.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a related field. - A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in corporate sales strategies specifically tailored for the aviation industry. - Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics. - Strong negotiation and contract management skills. - Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights. - Familiarity with aviation regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices. - Competence in utilizing digital sales platforms and marketing analytics. - Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management.
