Job Title: Business Development Manager Real Estate Redevelopment Structural Audit Programs

Role Overview

As the Business Development Manager Real Estate Redevelopment Structural Audit Programs, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our footprint in key markets. Your focus will be on selling redevelopment consulting services, feasibility studies, structural audit and audit-management programs to real estate owners, developers, financial institutions, and government entities.

Youll combine industry knowledge, consultative selling, and strategic pipeline development to drive revenue growth and deepen market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Sales

Identify, target, and acquire new clients for redevelopment projects and structural audit services.

Generate leads through networking, referrals, partnerships, and market research.

Develop tailored value propositions, proposals, and presentations for key decision-makers (owners, developers, institutional investors).

Lead negotiations and close contracts that align with company goals and client needs.

Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales lifecycle.

Understand clients real estate portfolios, pain points, and strategic objectives.

Facilitate seamless handoffs to project delivery teams.

Market Program Strategy

Conduct market assessments and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and opportunities.

Identify redevelopment pipelines (aged assets, under-utilized properties, brownfield spaces).

Support internal strategy development for new service lines and offerings.

Collaborate with pre-construction, technical, and engineering teams to frame integrated solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with structural engineers, architects, project managers, legal, and finance teams.

Provide market feedback to shape technical offerings and pricing strategies.

Coordinate with marketing for campaign messaging and lead nurturing.

Reporting Forecasting

Maintain accurate CRM records and sales funnel forecasting.

Prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership with insights on prospects, pipeline, and deal status.

Qualifications

Education Experience

Bachelors degree in Business, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

5+ years of business development or sales experience in real estate services, redevelopment, structural consulting, or built-environment programs.

Proven track record of selling complex B2B services and closing high-value deals.

Skills Competencies

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong understanding of real estate redevelopment drivers, zoning, feasibility analysis, and structural audit/condition assessment fundamentals.

Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and solution-selling mindset.

Comfortable networking with C-Suite and senior stakeholders.

Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales forecasting, and reporting.

Preferred

Existing network with developers, owners, construction firms, lenders, or municipal agencies.

Knowledge of local building codes, compliance standards, and risk management.
