Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Identify potential business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms.
  • Generate qualified leads and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-ups with prospective clients.

2. Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new markets and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns to attract new clients.

3. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

4. Proposal & Contract Management

  • Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing in line with company guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of contracts and agreements.

5. Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Report regularly on sales forecasts, targets, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Provide feedback to product and service teams to improve offerings based on client insights.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience (25+ years) in sales, business development, or account management
  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C sales processes

Desirable:

  • MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification
  • Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., tech, pharma, healthcare, education)
  • Experience in CRM and sales automation tools
