Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be responsible for driving business growth, revenue expansion, and strategic partnerships for HitFame. This role requires a strong understanding of the media and entertainment industry, along with hands-on experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between sales, marketing, partnerships, and leadership, identifying new opportunities, closing deals, and building long-term relationships that strengthen HitFame's market position.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research & Growth Strategy
  • Analyze target markets, industry trends, and competitor activity within the media, entertainment, and creator economy
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, audience segments, and partnership models
  • Contribute to short-term and long-term growth strategies aligned with company goals
Lead Generation & Opportunity Development
  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
  • Generate leads via cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, and digital platforms
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, partners, and collaborators
Partnerships & Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with:
  • Media companies, production houses, studios, and agencies
  • Brands, talent managers, and creator networks
  • Strategic partners relevant to HitFame's ecosystem
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership and business deals
  • Act as a key point of contact for strategic accounts and partners
Sales & Revenue Support
  • Support premium package sales, enterprise collaborations, and partnership monetization
  • Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and commercial presentations
  • Arrange meetings and support sales leadership in deal closures
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and coordination with internal teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and growth teams to align objectives
  • Share market insights and client feedback to improve offerings and positioning
  • Ensure partner and client requirements are effectively communicated internally
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Track business development activities, deal progress, and revenue contributions
  • Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and performance updates for leadership
  • Monitor KPIs related to growth, partnerships, and revenue
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the media, entertainment, or creator industry
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, digital products, or subscription-based sales models
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in lead generation, partnerships, and deal closures
  • Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
  • Existing network within media, entertainment, influencer, or creator ecosystems
  • Experience working with creators, talent agencies, production houses, or brands
  • Exposure to performance-driven or revenue-focused growth roles
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a tech startup
