Business Development Manager

A Fortune 200 company building its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India

Location: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad — or Remote (India)

About the Company

A Fortune 200 global organisation is building its Global Capability Centre in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire its founding commercial team. This is a ground-floor seat at a company investing seriously in India, with the scope to open new revenue lines from day one. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities that grow the centre's footprint. You will own the full cycle from first conversation to signed agreement and build the pipeline the team scales on.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline & Closing

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target segments
  • Run discovery, build proposals, and negotiate terms to close
  • Own and forecast a clean pipeline in the CRM

Relationships & Growth

  • Build long-term relationships with prospects and key accounts
  • Partner with marketing and delivery teams on go-to-market plays
  • Track market trends and surface new revenue angles for leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 7 years in business development, sales, or partnerships
  • A track record of opening and closing new accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial judgement
  • Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a GCC, consulting, or B2B services environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • An MBA or postgraduate qualification in business
