About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our growth across India's premier logistics hubs: Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad. You will be responsible for expanding our market footprint by selling comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions, including Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Customs Clearance (CHA), and Warehousing.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion: Drive new business acquisition by targeting and closing mid-to-large-scale enterprise accounts across the Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad commercial belts.
Territory Management: Effectively manage and travel across the three designated regions to maintain high-touch relationships with prospective clients and existing accounts.
Solution Selling: Understand client supply chain pain points and pitch tailored freight forwarding solutions (Air/Ocean Import & Export).
RFQ & Pricing Management: Lead commercial bidding, handle structured RFQs, negotiate competitive freight rates, and collaborate closely with our internal pricing and operations teams.
Revenue Ownership: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly individual volume and gross profit targets.
Outstanding Management: Coordinate with clients and finance to ensure timely payment collections within agreed credit periods.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Min 2 years of hardcore sales/business development experience in any field who is willing to engage in highly dynamic market
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently across the Mumbai-Delhi-Hyderabad corridor as required by business needs.
Skills: Strong negotiation tactics, excellent corporate presentation skills, and fluency in English and Hindi (regional language proficiency is a plus).
