GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

As Business Development Manager for India, the role will focus on establishing new business units and market segments to drive sustainable and scalable revenue growth, while strategically acquiring and developing highvalue Key Accounts with strong demand for Envu's solutions, building longterm partnerships and expanding market presence across the region.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

Setup New Business Units:

  • Engage with the relevant stakeholders and potential customers to identify business opportunities and evaluate these based on customers needs and Envu product portfolio and value proposition
  • Research new market opportunities, build business case, incorporate feedback from stakeholders, and create an investment case for Envu
  • Handhold setup of new business units, ensure customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Setup internal processes and capabilities required to efficiently service the new business
  • Hire and train team members as required to scale the business
  • Ensure protection of Envu positioning and brand premium while creating new ventures
  • Break conventions while building new businesses while ensuring corporate compliance.

Acquire and Develop Key Accounts:

  • Research and network across industries and markets to identify large key account opportunities
  • Develop value proposition for potential customers based on requirements and Envu product portfolio
  • Engage with potential clients, leverage Envu's brand and marketing programs to win new accounts
  • Create annual sales plans for each Key Account in a product wise calendarized manner
  • Ensure timely payments are received and there is no loss of sales on account of credit block
  • Regularly engage with customers, identify pain points and develop solutions
  • Create value added service offerings to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work with zonal sales teams to ensure customer requirements are managed efficiently
  • Build programs and interventions to ensure value and recognition for each key account

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Internal: Country Head, Head of Marketing, Sales Managers (Zonal, Area), Product Supply, Finance Controller, Head of Sales, Commercial Excellence manager.
  • External: Distributors, Customers, Industry Associations

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE

Main requirements:

  • Masters in Business preferred
  • 8+ years experience in sales, business development
  • Excellent business acumen, start-up experience valued
  • Demonstrated ability in new business setup valued
  • Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy and responsible decision-making
  • Ability to drive results in a multi-stakeholder setup
  • Strong analytical ability to breakdown complex business problems and design structured process / solutions
  • Willingness to work in start-up mode in a global MNC, bring energy and hands-on execution to the table
  • Ability to collaborate with sales and operations teams to execute strategies
  • Strong ownership and desire to win
