Job description
Doctor & Referral Network Management:
- Build and maintainstrong relationships with referring doctors, optometrists, and healthcare providers.
- Act as theprimary liaisonbetween the hospital and external doctors, ensuring smooth patient referrals.
- Develop and implementreferral strategiesto increase patient inflow from external clinics and hospitals.
- Organizeregular meetings, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and workshopsfor referring doctors.
- Address queries from referring doctors regarding patient treatment plans and progress.
Patient Referral Coordination:
- Oversee theentire referral process, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and referring doctors.
- Coordinate withoutpatient, inpatient, and surgical departmentsto facilitate timely appointments and treatments.
- Ensureproper documentation and trackingof referred patients, including follow-ups and feedback.
- Maintain an up-to-datedatabase of referring doctors and healthcare institutions.
Marketing & Outreach:
- Developtargeted outreach programsto expand the hospitals referral base.
- Organizedoctor networking events, medical conferences, and community engagement programs.
- Collaborate with themarketing teamto design referral brochures, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
- Represent the hospital atmedical events and networking opportunities.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyzereferral trends, providing insights to improve hospital services.
- Preparemonthly and quarterly reportson referral performance and outreach effectiveness.
- Identifygaps and opportunitiesin the referral network to enhance hospital growth.
Skills:
Experience:
- 5+ years of experiencein a hospital referral team, business development, or healthcare relationship management.
- Proven experience inbuilding doctor networks and managing patient referrals.
- Previous experience in aneye hospital or ophthalmology-related fieldis an advantage.
