The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the life insurance market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive sales in the direct channel for life insurance products.
- Identify and establish relationships with potential clients and partners to expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Analyze sales data to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide training and support to junior team members in direct sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Prepare and present reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the life insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and the direct sales process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track sales performance and market trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure new business deals.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
