Role Overview
We are looking for a driven
Business Development Manager to grow our digital advertising business by acquiring new clients, managing agency relationships, and driving revenue through effective advertising solutions. The role requires strong client handling, sales acumen, and understanding of digital brand marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Develop new business avenues and optimize existing client accounts to drive higher revenues
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients and agencies
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and concerns promptly
- Understand client business objectives and advertising requirements
Business Development & Sales
- Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research, networking, and outreach
- Conduct extensive client meetings to understand market and client needs
- Create and execute go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Pitch and sell digital advertising solutions effectively to meet and exceed sales goals
- Negotiate advertising deals and contracts with mutually beneficial terms
Revenue Generation
- Drive new client acquisition and expand the existing client base
- Close new deals and support long-term revenue growth
- Ensure achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets
Campaign Coordination & Execution
- Collaborate with internal creative, marketing, and operations teams to develop impactful advertising solutions
- Ensure smooth execution of advertising campaigns in line with client expectations and timelines
- Monitor campaign performance and share regular updates and reports with clients
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and emerging advertising technologies
- Analyze competitor activity and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities
- Adapt sales strategies based on market insights and client feedback
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and campaign inventory
Budget & Commercial Management
- Negotiate advertising rates and commercial terms
- Assist in developing and managing advertising sales budgets
- Monitor and control costs related to advertising sales activities
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in digital advertising sales or business development (client and agency side)
- Strong understanding of Digital Brand Marketing
- Working knowledge of campaign delivery models such as CPM, CPC, CPV, CPCV, CPA, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
