Role Description The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across outdoor publicity and retail branding services. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, prepare proposals and presentations, and negotiate contracts in alignment with company objectives. The role includes close collaboration with the operations and printing teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution of campaigns and to maintain strong client satisfaction. Daily activities also involve tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate CRM records, and providing regular business reports and forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, relationship management, and deal negotiation.
- Experience in advertising, outdoor media, or marketing services, with understanding of hoardings, billboards, retail branding, and promotional materials.
- Solid communication and presentation abilities, with capacity to prepare clear proposals and deliver persuasive client pitches.
- Analytical and planning skills for market research, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate project execution end-to-end.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with digital communication platforms.
- Comfort with on-site client visits and travel within the region as required.
- Prior experience in managing corporate accounts and working with sectors such as FMCG, real estate, fashion, or airlines is a plus.
