Role Description The Business Development Intern role at Skillairo is an on-site internship based in Noida. The intern will support the business development team in identifying and researching potential partners, institutions, and corporate clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, assisting with lead generation, maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, and supporting outreach activities through calls, emails, and meetings. The intern will help prepare presentations, proposals, and reports, and contribute to customer follow-ups to ensure a positive experience for prospective and existing partners. This role offers exposure to sales processes, strategic partnerships, and EdTech market dynamics while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and professional interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation capabilities, including prospecting, qualifying potential partners, and maintaining organized outreach pipelines.
  • Candidates should possess Market Research skills, including gathering and analyzing competitor, customer, and industry information to support business decisions.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, demonstrating responsiveness, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach when interacting with stakeholders.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Comfort with basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Interest in EdTech, skill development, and career readiness initiatives is highly beneficial.
