Role Overview:
Work at the heart of Pine Labs Online PG business, driving merchant acquisition across high-growth digital-first industries including ecommerce, fintech, edtech, logistics, and SaaS ecosystems.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly driven, curious about fintech and enterprise sales, and eager to gain hands-on exposure to merchant acquisition and solution selling in a fast-paced startup environment.
The Responsibilities we entrust you with:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and qualify merchant leads using modern prospecting tools such as LinkedIn, Lusha, and outbound sales platforms.
- Build and maintain strong lead pipelines across ecommerce, fintech, edtech, logistics, and digital-first businesses.
- Conduct secondary research to understand merchant business models, use cases, and pain points.
2. Merchant Outreach & Engagement
- Drive structured outreach through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn InMail's, and follow-ups.
- Initiate first-level conversations with prospective merchants and understand their business requirements.
- Build tailored first-level pitches aligned to merchant needs and industry use cases.
3. Sales Funnel & Solutioning Support
- Support the end-to-end sales funnel from prospecting to outreach, solutioning, and closure support.
- Collaborate with senior sales leaders on deal strategy, pipeline conversion, and merchant engagement.
- Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams to support merchant onboarding and solution discussions.
4. Market Research & Business Insights
- Stay updated on trends across online payments, fintech, ecommerce, and SaaS ecosystems.
- Track competitor offerings, merchant pain points, and evolving digital payment use cases.
- Support business teams with structured market and account research.
