About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to support business growth initiatives through market research, lead generation, and client engagement. This role offers hands-on exposure to core business development activities in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential clients and new business opportunities
Conduct market and competitor research
Support lead generation through calls, emails, and online platforms
Maintain client data and CRM records
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and reports
Coordinate with internal teams for follow-ups and support
Required Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of sales and business development concepts
Lead identification and qualification skills
Research and analytical abilities
Confidence in client interaction (calls, emails, meetings)
Good negotiation and persuasion skills
Time management and organizational skills
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
Familiarity with LinkedIn, email tools, or CRM systems
Note: This is a 3-month unpaid internship, after which it may be converted to a stipend-based internship. Upon satisfactory performance, it can lead to a full-time on-roll position.
