ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting client acquisition, market research, lead generation, and outreach to potential partners. This role offers hands-on experience in understanding business growth strategies, pitching services, and building strong professional relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify potential clients, partners, and opportunities through market research.
- Connect with prospects via email, calls, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and pitch decks for potential clients.
- Maintain communication and help nurture long-term client relationships.
- Support the BD team with follow-ups, meeting scheduling, and tracking the sales pipeline.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
- Prepare weekly reports on outreach, lead status, and BD activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Essential
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, -Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and client relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing agencies or digital services is a plus.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage time effectively.
- Comfortable with outreach, research, and basic negotiation.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, -Google Workspace, LinkedIn, or CRM platforms (preferred but not mandatory).
