ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting client acquisition, market research, lead generation, and outreach to potential partners. This role offers hands-on experience in understanding business growth strategies, pitching services, and building strong professional relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify potential clients, partners, and opportunities through market research.
  • Connect with prospects via email, calls, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and pitch decks for potential clients.
  • Maintain communication and help nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Support the BD team with follow-ups, meeting scheduling, and tracking the sales pipeline.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly reports on outreach, lead status, and BD activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Essential

  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, -Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, business development, and client relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing agencies or digital services is a plus.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable with outreach, research, and basic negotiation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, -Google Workspace, LinkedIn, or CRM platforms (preferred but not mandatory).
