Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Thane, Mumbai. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads through multiple channels, and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients. The role involves conducting client meetings and presentations, understanding advertiser needs, and proposing tailored ad-tech and vehicle-wrapping solutions. The person in this position will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiations to closing deals and on-boarding clients. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining relationships with existing accounts, collaborating with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth campaign execution, and providing regular updates and reports on sales performance and market feedback.
Qualifications
Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
Solid understanding of Business fundamentals, including sales processes, revenue targets, and market analysis.
Strong Communication abilities, including client presentations, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in Account Management, with a focus on relationship-building, retention, and up-selling.
5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in ad-tech, media, or related sectors.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with CRM tools and basic MS Office or Google Workspace applications.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Client Acquisition:
- Identify and onboard brands, agencies, and local businesses

Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies
- Drive renewals and upselling opportunities
Desired Candidate Profile:
Mandatory:
5 years experience in advertising sales / media sales
Background in one or more of the following:
Transit Media (buses, autos, cabs)
DOOH / Digital Outdoor
Outdoor Billboards / Hoardings
Theatre Advertising
Railway / Metro Advertising
Strong understanding of media sales and client pitching
Willingness to do field sales
Preferred:
- Existing client or agency relationships
- Experience in hyperlocal or city-based campaigns
