About the Role:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. This role requires a proactive, target-driven professional with strong communication and negotiation skills and an understanding of marketing, branding, and creative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with company growth targets
- Research potential clients, industries, and market trends relevant to creative and marketing services
- Pitch company services including branding, advertising, digital marketing, content, and creative solutions
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to close deals
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets
- Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Act as a key point of contact during initial onboarding and project handover
- Ensure client expectations are clearly understood and communicated internally
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and commercials in coordination with the creative and strategy teams
- Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines while ensuring profitability
- Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, and client interactions
- Track competitor activities, pricing models, and service offerings
- Provide insights to management on market demand, client feedback, and growth opportunities
- Work closely with creative, strategy, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution post-closure
- Support management in forecasting sales, planning growth strategies, and improving conversion ratios.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in Business Development / Sales / Client Acquisition (preferably in marketing, advertising, media, or creative agency)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Understanding of branding, digital marketing, advertising, and creative services
- Target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM knowledge is a plus
- Ability to build rapport and convert conversations into business
