About the Role
The role involves key responsibilities in lead generation, client acquisition and retention, sales growth, documentation and reporting, and cross-department coordination.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Cold calling (Field Work)
- Identifying profitable business opportunities
Client Acquisition and Retention
- Scheduling and attending customer appointments
- Managing quotation approval (seal & signature)
- Ensuring consignment data is shared with the Customer Care Department
- Escalating customer complaints when required
- Coordinating with management on client requirements
- Conducting monthly performance reviews
- Ensuring client retention
Sales Growth
- Upselling and cross-selling to existing and potential clients
- Driving revenue generation for assigned sectors
- Supporting the annual rate revision process to enhance overall revenue
- Assisting in payment collection post invoice generation
- Achieving target-based revenue goals
Documentation & Reporting
- Preparing quotations, acquiring approvals, and submitting necessary documents to commence business
- Updating daily and monthly reports
Cross-Department Coordination
- Working closely with Operations and Customer Care departments to ensure efficient project execution
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (report generation & data entry)
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - English & Kannada
- Team player with the ability to coordinate across departments
- Must own a two-wheeler for commute and familiar with routes in Bangalore
