Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and result-driven Academic Counselor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for calling prospective students, counseling them about our stock market courses, and converting leads into enrollments. The role requires strong communication skills, sales ability, and a passion for helping individuals understand financial education opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call and follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns and inquiries.
  • Counsel potential students about stock market courses and learning programs.
  • Understand the candidate's learning goals and recommend suitable courses.
  • Explain course structure, benefits, and career opportunities in stock market education.
  • Handle objections and convert inquiries into successful enrollments.
  • Maintain proper follow-ups with interested candidates.
  • Update lead status and maintain records in CRM or internal systems.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and counseling conversion goals.
  • Coordinate with the operations and training teams for smooth onboarding of students.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and convincing skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to build rapport with potential students
  • Basic understanding of stock market concepts (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • Good phone etiquette and presentation skills

Eligibility Criteria

  • Experience: 1–3 years in academic counseling / inside sales / edtech sales
  • Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
