As a Business Development Representative at Blackridge Research & Consulting, you'll be primarily responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and securing new business for the company.
This role is available in US Shift (7:00 PM 4:00 AM IST) and General Shift (12:00 PM 9:00 PM IST).
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Presentation and Demonstration: Schedule and facilitate online demos and presentations of our Global Project Tracker software, explain features and benefits, and answer any questions that prospective clients (inbound and outbound leads) might have.
- Cold Outreach: Utilize cold calling (should be able to speak English and speaking in Arabic is a plus), email, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods to identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential leads and decision-makers in targeted companies.
- Lead Generation: Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs. Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
- Qualification: Qualify leads based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and insightful questions, and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Follow-Up: Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in our products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to move prospects through the sales funnel, meet or exceed monthly targets, and contribute to our long-term business growth.
- Data Management: Keep accurate and complete records of all sales activity in the CRM (customer relationship management) system.
- Managing sales forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and ensuring that the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads & prospects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Fluency in English
- 0.5-5 years of proven experience in generating new opportunities for a B2B product/solution/enterprise/SaaS
- A consistent track record of overachievement in quotas and sales targets
- Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines
- A positive and energetic phone presence, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is a must.
- Good listening skills. Self-motivated, passionate, driven and prepared to go above and beyond.
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Capable of dealing with potential customers objections
- Ability to follow directions, follow-through, and maintain a high level of accountability
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close, with the ability to handle objections and rejections.
