Job Title: Legal Sales Associate

About the Company

Shepherd Knight is a legal consultancy advising businesses and private clients on complex corporate, commercial, and cross-border matters. The firm works with clients across 25+ countries, helping global companies enter India and supporting Indian businesses with international expansion, FDI, joint ventures, and regulatory frameworks.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who understands law but thinks like a business person.

This is a client-facing sales role where your legal background becomes your biggest advantage helping you build trust, communicate value, and close high-quality global clients.

You won't just sell services you'll bridge the gap between legal expertise and business needs.

What You'll Do
  • Identify and engage potential clients globally (startups, founders, MNCs, investors)
  • Pitch legal services in a clear, business-first manner (not legal jargon-heavy)
  • Understand client requirements and align them with the firm's offerings
  • Work closely with the legal team to structure proposals and solutions
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Drive inbound + outbound sales efforts (LinkedIn, email, referrals, networks)
  • Represent the firm in a professional, confident, and consultative manner
Who You Are
  • 1–4 years of experience in sales / business development / client-facing roles (legal exposure is a big plus)
  • Strong communication skills especially with international clients
  • Confident, proactive, and comfortable owning conversations end-to-end
  • Someone who enjoys closing deals as much as understanding the law
