Business Development Executive

Role: Business Development Executive

Seniority Level: Associate

Location: Nariman Point

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred)

Required Experience: 2-4 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field sales activities, present and demonstrate technical textile products to architects, contractors, and procurement heads, and prepare techno‑commercial proposals.

- Generate and qualify leads through market research, cold outreach, LinkedIn and trade directories, and manage the sales pipeline in a CRM system to meet targets.

- Manage existing client accounts, coordinate with internal design, operations and logistics teams, and ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.

- Research new market segments, monitor competitor activity, and collaborate on go‑to‑market strategies for product expansion.

Must-Have Skills/Technologies:

- Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint (MS Office)

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi and Marathi

- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities

- Persuasive presentation and demo skills

- Self‑motivated hunter mentality with ability to work independently

- Strong time‑management and reporting discipline

- Ability to travel extensively across Mumbai and surrounding regions

Good-to-Have Skills/Technologies:

- Technical product knowledge (PVC, PVDF coated membranes, tensile structures & related industrial textiles) is preferred

- CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot)

- LinkedIn Sales Navigator / advanced LinkedIn prospecting

- Market research tools (industry databases, trade directories)

- Presentation software (Prezi, Canva)

- Basic data analysis tools (Microsoft Power BI)

- ERP or order‑management systems
