About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven, articulate, and tech-savvy Business Development Executive with strong communication skills and hands-on experience in software and hardware solutions. Exposure to the defense, government, or enterprise technology sectors is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate should have an excellent ability to understand and simplify complex technologies—especially XR, VR/AR, simulation systems, and AI-driven platforms—and present them as compelling business value propositions to clients. You must be capable of leveraging AI tools for documentation, proposal creation, presentations, and market analysis, while managing the complete BD cycle from opportunity identification to closure.

At Parallax Labs Pvt. Ltd., we develop cutting-edge simulation-based technologies across XR, AI, digital twins, and mission-critical training systems for enterprise and defense applications. As part of our BD team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across India by building strong client relationships, driving strategic partnerships, and positioning our next-generation solutions within defense, government, and enterprise ecosystems.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with top-tier engineering and product teams and contribute to the growth of high-impact technology solutions used for training, operational planning, and real-time decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities across software, hardware, and simulation-based technology solutions.
  • Engage with clients in defense, government, and enterprise sectors to assess requirements and map them to relevant technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality product demos, technical presentations, and value-based pitches, using AI tools for content creation where required.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and technical teams to drive solution-based sales.
  • Support the creation of proposals, tenders, RFP/RFQ responses, and government documentation—leveraging AI to enhance quality, accuracy, and speed.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships, lead conversations, and ensure consistent follow-ups for deal closures.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to XR, AR/VR, simulation, AI, and defense systems.
  • Drive revenue and strategic business growth through proactive planning and opportunity mapping.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Business Development / Technical Sales, preferably in software, hardware, defense, or enterprise tech domains.
  • Strong understanding of XR, AR/VR, simulators, training systems, or hardware platforms (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Proficiency in AI tools for documentation, research, presentation building, and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with government procurement, defense workflows, and tendering processes is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, handle full-cycle BD operations, and manage high-value client relationships.
