Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in New Delhi. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including researching target markets, building prospect lists, and initiating outreach through calls, emails, meetings, and networking events. The role involves managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead qualification and solution presentation to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure. The individual will maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs, and regularly track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback. The Business Development Executive will also represent One Up Consulting at events, client meetings, and presentations to promote the firm's services and value proposition.

Qualifications

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, including prospecting, pipeline building, and closing deals.
  • Solid understanding of business development principles and the ability to link client needs with consulting solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present services clearly, negotiate confidently, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in account management, with the ability to nurture long-term client relationships and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Experience in MBO Partnerships and Popups
  • Experience in Event Management & Exhibitions is a plus
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or consulting services, preferably in HR, people strategy, or related domains.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment, with strong time management, organization, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools).
