Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Kochi. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities for Offenso's cybersecurity training programs, with a focus on student, professional, and corporate segments. Responsibilities include generating and nurturing leads through calls, emails, events, social channels, and partnerships, as well as maintaining a structured sales pipeline and accurate CRM records. The role involves conducting consultative discussions with prospective learners and corporate clients, presenting program offerings, organizing demos or webinars, and coordinating with academic and marketing teams to align outreach with program schedules and campaigns. The Business Development Executive will also support account management activities, track performance metrics, provide feedback on market trends, and contribute to revenue growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Sound understanding of business development principles and commercial awareness, preferably in education, training, or IT/cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present programs clearly and conduct consultative sales conversations.
- Experience in account management, client relationship building, and post-enrollment support to ensure learner and partner satisfaction.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic sales analytics to track leads, conversions, and targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Prior experience in EdTech, training institutes, or IT services sales is an advantage; interest in cybersecurity and technology is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, meet performance targets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
