We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Executive (BDE) to expand our outreach across Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with educational institutions and test preparation centres, identifying potential student leads, and creating opportunities to promote study abroad programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Coaching centres across Kolkata to establish partnerships and generate leads.
- Identify and secure Seminar and Presentation opportunities within institutions to promote overseas education services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as Institution authorities, Counsellors, and Faculty members.
- Visit IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE coaching centres and test centres to connect with prospective students and collect relevant data.
- Generate and maintain a database of potential students interested in studying abroad.
- Coordinate with the internal counselling team to ensure proper follow-up and conversion of leads.
- Represent PFEC Global professionally at all external meetings and events.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Achieve assigned monthly targets related to lead generation and partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, meetings, and leads in CRM systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: Graduate in any discipline
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in business development, field sales, or the education sector (freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered)
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively within Kolkata
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented
- Basic knowledge of overseas education will be an added advantage
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Education consultancy / EdTech / Coaching industry
- Strong presentation and Negotiation skills
- Ability to build long-term professional relationships
- Good organizational and reporting abilities
