IKIO LED Lighting is a US-based manufacturer specializing in high-quality LED solutions for industrial, commercial, multi-family residential/hospitality, horticulture, hazardous location, and solar outdoor applications. As an Energy Savings Solution Partner in the EPI collaborative led by the Institute for Lean Systems, IKIO supports customers in achieving long-term performance and cost improvements.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Noida. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a robust sales pipeline, and drive lead generation through research, outreach, and networking. Responsibilities include meeting prospective clients, understanding their lighting and energy efficiency needs, presenting IKIO's product portfolio and services, and preparing proposals and quotations. The role will manage ongoing relationships with key accounts, coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and finance) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction, and track sales metrics and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calling and outbound sales activities to generate leads and business opportunities
  • Identify and connect with potential clients, distributors, and partners in international markets
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Follow up on inquiries and coordinate with internal teams for quotations and proposals
  • Maintain records of leads, calls, customer interactions, and sales activities
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and competitor activities
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and product teams for smooth execution
  • Represent the company professionally during client interactions and virtual meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or international sales
  • Experience in electronics, LED lighting, electrical products, or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Experience of working in US Market is preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident and proactive in outbound client outreach
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in night shift
