Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Senior Business Development Executive. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with institutions, corporate partners, and individual professionals interested in management and distance education programs. Daily tasks include generating and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via calls, meetings, and presentations, and nurturing relationships through structured follow-ups. The Senior Business Development Executive will collaborate closely with the counseling and marketing teams to align outreach campaigns with program offerings and enrollment targets. Responsibilities also include managing key accounts, tracking performance metrics, providing regular sales reports, and contributing feedback to refine products, pricing, and positioning in the education market.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment or sales targets.
  • Strong Business acumen, including understanding of education services, competitive positioning, and revenue growth drivers.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
  • Experience in Account Management, with the ability to build, sustain, and grow long-term relationships with partners and learners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or admissions in education or related service industries is preferred.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting dashboards to manage pipelines and performance data.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
