Role Summary

We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Executive to spearhead growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment. The role focuses on expanding clean energy adoption through CAPEX model by identifying and qualifying opportunities, building strong client partnerships, and delivering successful closures for solar projects for C&I clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, contract closure, and portfolio expansion in rooftop solar projects.

Build and implement sales strategies to expand the company's renewable energy portfolio.

Conduct site assessments and prepare techno-commercial proposals.

Collaborate with channel partners and business associates across India to drive business growth.

Liaise with statutory authorities on government policies, net metering procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

Prepare, manage, and ensure accountability for client proposals, contracts, and supporting documents.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

37 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the renewable energy/solar industry, preferably in the C&I segment.

Strong understanding of business models, energy financing, and commercial contracts.

Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage sales cycles clients.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with government policies, net metering regulations, and approval processes related to solar projects.

Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting systems.

Ability to work independently, travel as required(should have bike), and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
