Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of e-commerce, online marketplaces, and digital marketing, along with a strong inclination toward sales and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Understand client requirements and pitch relevant services and solutions
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, content, operations) for smooth execution
  • Maintain and update CRM, lead database, and sales pipeline
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and client acquisition

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart
  • Understanding of marketplace operations and online selling
  • Familiarity with digital marketing (SEO, social media, performance marketing)
  • Experience in B2B sales
