Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive – Client Engagement role based in Bengaluru.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for building relationships with HR professionals, Talent Acquisition teams, hiring managers, and corporate partners to support fresher hiring initiatives. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, understanding hiring requirements, coordinating recruitment drives, and promoting DCL's talent pool to potential employers.

The candidate will work closely with placement, training, and operations teams to ensure successful hiring outcomes and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and connect with HRs, Recruiters, Talent Acquisition teams, and Hiring Managers.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels including LinkedIn, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Understand client hiring requirements and provide suitable candidate solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with hiring partners.
  • Coordinate virtual and on-campus recruitment drives.
  • Conduct client meetings, follow-ups, and requirement discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal placement and training teams to ensure timely profile submissions.
  • Track recruitment activities and maintain accurate records in CRM and reporting tools.
  • Support strategic initiatives to expand DCL's hiring partner network.
  • Achieve monthly targets related to client acquisition and hiring partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in Business Development, Client Engagement, Recruitment, or Corporate Relations.
  • Ability to build professional relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools is an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to learn.

  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-solving and client-handling abilities.
  • Confidence in interacting with corporate professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
