Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive with a strong background in the Civil Industry, particularly in hydropower, water resources, urban infrastructure, irrigation, and transportation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities, especially through government tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, track, and evaluate government and private tenders in hydropower, water resources, irrigation, urban infrastructure, and transportation sectors.
- Lead the bidding process for government tenders, ensuring full compliance with technical, commercial, and statutory requirements.
- Manage end-to-end bid generation, including preparation of technical proposals, commercial submissions, documentation, and timely tender submission.
- Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, scope of work, and risks to support effective bid/no-bid decisions.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, and finance teams to develop accurate technical inputs, cost estimates, BOQs, and supporting bid documents.
- Develop and execute strategies to secure new business opportunities in the civil and infrastructure industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government authorities, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Follow up on leads, ongoing bids, negotiations, and awarded tenders to convert opportunities into successful projects.
- Lead negotiations, clarifications, and post-bid discussions to improve win probability and contract outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, tendering, or bid management within the hydropower, water resources, irrigation, urban infrastructure, or transportation sectors.
- Strong ability in preparing and managing government bids and tenders.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field. Masters preferred but not required.
