Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and solutions.
  • Maintain and update databases for prospects, leads, and customers.
  • Record all interactions and activities in the company CRM system.
  • Create personalized sales pitches for prospects and existing clients.
  • Engage with prospects and customers to convert leads and retain clients.
  • Provide customer support to help clients adopt and effectively use company products.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs.
  • Communicate with clients through calls, emails, video meetings, and in-person meetings.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, revenue forecasts, and expense reports to management.
  • Ensure timely payment collection from customers.
  • Gather feedback on products and services and share insights with internal teams.
  • Monitor competitors and track market activities and competitive products.

General Responsibilities

  • Participate in management meetings related to strategy, operations, and business development.
  • Provide market insights, reports, and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Work on Chemical Industry Sales related to SAP/ERP solutions.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales collaterals when required.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 13 years of experience in sales, preferably in technology or ERP solutions.
  • Experience in chemical industry sales or procurement is essential.
  • Understanding of the chemical market in India.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
  • Knowledge of Hindi, Marathi, or Gujarati will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and common business applications.
  • Graduate degree required; MBA preferred.
