Job Description

Job Title - Business Development

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 5+

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for construction project management services across targeted sectors.
  • Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, repeat business, and cross-selling of related services.
  • Prepare and execute business development plans aligned with overall company growth strategy.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, corporates, investors, consultants, and contractors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their project objectives, timelines, and risk considerations.
  • Lead client presentations, capability discussions, and commercial negotiations.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track market trends, upcoming developments, and competitor activity within the construction and real estate sector.
  • Identify strategic partnerships, empanelment's, and framework agreements.
  • Support leadership with market insights, pipeline forecasting, and growth recommendations.

Bids, Proposals & Closures

  • Preparation of EOIs, RFP responses, technical proposals, and commercial submissions.
  • Coordinate with internal technical, design, and delivery teams to develop winning proposals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure seamless handover post-award.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing / Business Management preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development within construction, real estate advisory, PMC, EPC, or professional services.
  • Established network within developers, corporates, or investor communities is a strong advantage.
