Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements related to life insurance products and processes
• Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new projects and system enhancements
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories for IT teams

Process & Solution Design

• Lead workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to map and optimize business processes
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, regulatory frameworks, and operational workflows

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) including test planning, scenario creation, and defect tracking
• Liaise with QA and IT teams to ensure the delivered solution meets business expectations

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Monitor project progress, flag risks, and recommend mitigation plans
• Prepare business cases, dashboards, and progress reports for senior stakeholders

Industry & Regulatory Awareness

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements in the insurance sector
• Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending best practices and innovations
