Key Responsibilities:
- Support complete project lifecycle activities, including planning, requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Conduct requirement-gathering and stakeholder consultation sessions with multiple government departments, agencies, and implementation partners
- Prepare and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), process flows, and use cases to guide solution development
- Map and document end-to-end business processes and workflows for various functional areas to ensure standardization, efficiency, and interoperability
- Coordinate with technical and development teams on system architecture, integrations, and data exchange mechanisms, including API-driven and microservices-based approaches
- Ensure adherence to Government of India's guidelines on accessibility, security, and interoperability (e.g., GIGW 3.0, WCAG 2.1, CERT-In, and MeitY standards)
- Collaborate with UI/UX design teams to ensure that system interfaces are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with functional requirements
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validation checklists, and capturing stakeholder feedback for final implementation
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and KPI monitoring frameworks for effective governance and progress tracking
- Liaise with program management units, technical teams, and implementation partners for coordination, issue resolution, and progress documentation
- Assist in capacity building, training documentation, and SOP preparation to support end-user adoption and knowledge transfer
- Track requirement changes and maintain a traceability matrix throughout the development and deployment phases to ensure alignment with approved project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or project management for large-scale IT/e-Governance projects.
- Strong understanding of requirement elicitation, process modelling (BPMN), and documentation standards.
- Exposure to microservices, API integration, and enterprise data systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based, containerized, or DevSecOps environments.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Project, MS Visio, and AI-powered documentation aids (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot).
- Understanding of data migration, analytics, and reporting dashboards.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL data structures, as well as search indexing technologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
- Awareness of government IT standards, security guidelines, and accessibility frameworks (GIGW, WCAG, CERT-In).
