About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our team remotely from India for a 12-month contract. This role is pivotal in delivering technical solutions for our core banking implementation program within the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the project, including developing and executing strategic plans, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of core banking systems, extensive technical expertise, and strong leadership capabilities to oversee all phases of the implementation lifecycle, from initial scope analysis to production rollout. The role also involves providing technical support during testing cycles, user training, and business simulations to ensure seamless deployment and operational excellence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree or engineering qualification with over 10 years of relevant experience in the banking technology domain. Hands-on experience with FLEXCUBE, specifically versions V11.x to 14.x, is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record in core banking implementation, either as a Solution Architect, Senior Product Developer, or Consultant. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, along with familiarity with integration methods such as API/REST APIs, Microservices, and Batch processing, is mandatory. A strong understanding of hardware infrastructure, particularly Unix/Linux/AIX platforms, will be considered an advantage. The candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead technical teams effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of the Core Banking Implementation Program, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Develop comprehensive technical strategies and execution plans aligned with project objectives, guiding the team throughout all implementation phases.
- Manage and oversee the technical design, solution architecture, environment sizing, and system integration activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Provide technical support during various testing cycles such as Product Walkthrough, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Business Simulations.
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the transformation of core banking applications to newer versions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure hardware and platform readiness across Unix/Linux/AIX environments.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
