About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our team remotely from India for a 12-month contract. This role is pivotal in leading the technical delivery of a Core Banking Implementation Program within the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the technical aspects of the project, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of banking solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core banking systems, particularly in FLEXCUBE, with extensive experience in managing large-scale banking technology projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical, leadership, and communication skills who can oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and production deployment.
Qualifications
The candidate should possess a postgraduate degree or engineering qualification with over 10 years of experience in core banking solutions, specifically with FLEXCUBE. Hands-on experience with FLEXCUBE versions V11.x to V14.x is essential. Prior experience as a Solution Architect, Senior Product Developer, or Consultant in core banking implementations is mandatory. A deep understanding of Oracle PL/SQL programming, integration methods such as API/REST APIs, Microservices, and Batch processing is required. Knowledge of hardware architectures and platforms like Unix, Linux, or AIX will be considered an advantage.
The candidate should demonstrate strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to mentor teams effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical delivery of the Core Banking Implementation Program, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and scope. Develop and execute the technical strategy for the core banking system upgrade and implementation, guiding the team through various project phases including scope analysis, solution architecting, environment sizing, and system integration.
Provide technical leadership during key project activities such as product walkthroughs, scope studies, integration testing, and environment setup. Support testing cycles including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and Business Simulation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Coordinate and facilitate technical support during user training sessions, production rollout, and post-implementation support. Manage the transformation of the core banking application to newer versions, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing banking operations.
Oversee quality assurance and compliance controls throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and implement solutions promptly.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and procedures. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
