Channel Brand Manager
We are looking for a Channel Brand Manager who can transform customer communications from a delivery function into a strategic growth lever.
The ideal candidate should bring a strong brand management mindset, a deep understanding of customer behavior and expertise in developing customer communication strategies across SMS, Email and Push Notifications. This role requires someone who can go beyond execution—combining business understanding, creativity, data-driven decision making and modern marketing tools to drive customer engagement, product adoption and business growth at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication Strategy
- Own the communication strategy across SMS, Email and Push Notification channels.
- Develop channel plans aligned to business objectives, customer lifecycle stages and brand priorities.
- Ensure all customer communication is consistent with Airtel's brand voice while driving measurable business outcomes.
- Build communication frameworks that improve customer engagement, product adoption, retention and cross-sell.
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance communication effectiveness, personalization and operational efficiency.
Brand & Campaign Management
- Translate business priorities into compelling customer communication campaigns.
- Craft impactful messaging that balances customer relevance, business objectives and brand consistency.
- Partner with Brand, Product and Category teams to develop communication strategies for key launches, campaigns and initiatives.
- Bring a strong consumer and brand lens to all communication decisions.
- Drive faster and smarter campaign execution through automation, reusable frameworks and scalable content approaches.
Performance & Business Impact
- Define success metrics for all communication initiatives and establish robust measurement frameworks.
- Track campaign performance, customer response and channel effectiveness.
- Generate insights and recommendations to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
- Demonstrate clear linkage between communication interventions and business outcomes.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, optimize workflows and scale communication operations.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Product, Category, Analytics, Martech and Brand teams to drive execution.
- Manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery and proactive communication.
- Act as the central point of contact for customer communication planning across business units.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Brand Management, CRM Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Customer Communications or Growth Marketing.
- Experience managing customer-facing communication channels such as SMS, Email, Push Notifications or WhatsApp.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, engagement strategies and communication planning.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
- MBA from a reputed institute preferred.
