About The Role
We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at TCS in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring seamless application deployment pipelines and robust infrastructure management. This role requires a strong background in cloud architecture, automation, and scripting, with a focus on optimizing deployment processes and maintaining high availability and security standards. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), monitor system performance, and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure reliable and efficient cloud operations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Fargate, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail is essential. Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of CI/CD tools including AWS CodePipeline, CodeCommit, Jenkins, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is mandatory. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash is also necessary. Additionally, familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Implement containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes (EKS) and Fargate.
- Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, and Grafana, ensuring optimal operation and quick resolution of issues.
- Automate routine tasks and configurations through scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into application development lifecycle.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud infrastructure and data protection.
