Position Title: Associate YouTube
Role Summary:
Manage the day-to-day operations of our YouTube channel. Ensure a consistent upload schedule, drive discoverability through strong YouTube SEO, monitor performance analytics, and collaborate with creators, editors, and designers to accelerate channel growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the content calendar and end-to-end production workflow.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and brand alignment.
- Upload videos and own end-to-end YouTube SEO, including optimization of titles, descriptions, keywords, tags, thumbnails, and playlists to maximize reach and discoverability.
- Monitor overall channel health, including views, watch time, audience retention, click-through rate, and subscriber growth, and derive actionable insights.
- Identify content trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices to continuously improve engagement and growth.
- Manage community interactions, including comments, feedback, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (YouTube Shorts) and maintain a structured content archive.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing YouTube or other video-based platform channels.
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, keyword research, metadata optimization, and algorithm fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of video analytics and performance reporting.
- Basic knowledge of YouTube Shorts editing and designing, or the ability to coordinate effectively with creative teams.
- Basic video editing or graphic design skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a strong ability to identify engaging formats and emerging trends.
