Job Description

Labcorp is seeking Associate Manager to join our team at Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining work schedules for GLSES staff specifically critical tasks such as test code creation or generation of QC on call reports. This individual will triage all requests from Lab operations, project management, and establish priorities of the day, then assign them to staff as appropriate.
  • Responsible for leading teams in meetings, write agendas, assign action items and keeping staff accountable, capture minutes, and provide guidance and leadership to GLSES administrators.
  • Responsible for managing advanced global requests, determine the feasibility of the request, propose solutions to Manager, and provide timeline required to implement the solutions.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.
  • Accountable for training completion of individual administrators and appropriate documentation in the training files.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of new databases required for support of Envision.
  • Accountable for monitoring and reporting of performance metrics and working with appropriate Manager to determine corrective action.
  • Involved in coaching and mentoring of the staff
  • Individual is responsible for maintaining his/her complete up-to-date training file. Individual is responsible for ensuring he/she is trained and training is documented prior to performing a task. Individual is accountable for any deficiencies found in his/her training file Participate in Customer Audits when required.
  • Provide a monthly report for the Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, maintain, and track global definitions and modification appropriately to include implementations and maintaining the Zavacor/Antrim, CIM, Labware, Referral, PeopleSoft and Zavacor/Microbiology interfaces.
  • Determine database requirements by interacting with the global laboratories, GLSES management, and project management.
  • Direct database implementations as assigned for the functions of calculations, reflexes, PeopleSoft, or Antrim, write and maintain SOP's as required.
  • Provide user/database training for internal and global personnel as needed, and training to new database administrators.
  • Ensure concerned SOPs are timely read.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform all departmental and interdepartmental SOPs as written.
  • Adhere to Home Office Policy stated by the company.
  • Maintain the training file correct and up to date.
  • Ensure proper documentation is made for future reference.
  • Work well within team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Science
  • 10 years of work experience in a clinical research industry .
  • 3 years experience in managing a team in a professional environment
  • 2 or more years experience working in the science or medical industry
  • 2 years related database management experience
  • 3 years of Clinical Trials Lab Operation experience
